This privacy policy has been compiled in compliance with IOM’s Data Protection Manual and Principles (see here: http://bit.ly/1FNo7U5) and was created to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally identifiable information' (PII) is being used online. As such IOM shall take all reasonable and necessary precautions to preserve the confidentiality of personal data and the anonymity of data subjects where applicable. All personal data shall be collected, used, transferred and stored securely in accordance with the IOM data protection principles.

The criteria that determine the scope, depths, extend and limitations to which you will be permitted access to 6degree.org as a Service of IOM is stipulated in the Terms of Use which serves as the overarching agreement framework on which governs this as well as all other documents and contents posted on the Service.
